The Project
Memories of a Dive is an immersive film, edited for Dome and for watching in a VR headset like the Quest 3s. Filmed entirely in Thailand using underwater VR capturing techniques, we take you on an adventure exploring the magic of scuba diving! Check our our in depth blog post here!
The Process
Traveling to remote areas off the Western Coast of Thailand, we spent nearly a week on a boat scuba diving 3 times a day. We brought a few Insta360 cameras along with our DJI Mavic Pro 3 to capture the sights below and above the water.
We have created two versions of the film: one for Dome and another for VR. Each version has a 20 minute and 9 minute version.
Our hope is that experiencing this underwater world will inspire you to either take the plunge yourself and discover scuba diving, or deepen your commitment to ocean conservation.
